Interviewing for a job is a two-way street.  It gives the employer the opportunity to learn about you and it lets you find out about the employer.  Knowing yourself is critical to your job-hunting success.  There is a need to exude confidence in your abilities by displaying a good attitude.  Always be mindful of the following:

Prepare for the job interview. Study your abilities, qualifications and know your strength.
Be on time for your interview.  Time is money and you don’t want to waste either 
Make a good appearance.  You will never get a second chance to make a first impression. 
Give a firm handshake.  Wait until you’re invited to be seated. 
Remember your posture sends a message (body language and eye contact).
Be accurate, honest and prompt when answering the employer’s questions.  
Stay positive, be persistent and communicate clearly. 
Ask needed questions. 
Follow up with a thank you letter.
