Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs
Edward Waters College is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs. The Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs has broad oversight responsibilities for coordinating matters pertaining to academic computing, registration, admissions and library services. The Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs will supervise and provide leadership to the College Registrar, the Director of Admissions, the Director of the Library, and the Director of the Community Resource Center. Some of the program responsibilities include coordinating annual planning goals and objectives, preparing quarterly reports for the Provost and the Board of Trustees, and developing evaluation criteria of areas directly reporting to this position. The Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs will ensure the production of the academic calendar, semester schedules, the Faculty Handbook, and the College Catalog.

The successful candidate must possess an earned doctorate from an accredited college/university, a minimum of three years college experience at the department chair or equivalent administrative position or higher education, college teaching experience, demonstrable computer literacy, effective written and verbal communication skills, and excellent conflict resolution expertise.
