Chair, Criminal Justice Department
The Criminal Justice Department at Edward Waters College seeks to fill a tenure track, Assistant Professor’s position to serve as Chair and also teach courses in the department. The successful applicant will have a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice or Criminology. Preference will be given to applicants who have two or more years of work experience, successful experience in teaching in higher education, successful experience in research and scholarly publication, and successful experience in obtaining research/grant funding in the area of criminal justice. The Chair of the Criminal Justice Department is responsible for the direct supervision of all faculty members in the department, including clerical personnel and work-study students.  The Department Chair reports to the Dean of the College regarding the general management and operation of the academic area.
