Assistant Vice President for Academic Development and Support Services
Edward Waters College is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Vice President for Academic Development and Support Services. The Assistant Vice President for Academic Development and Support Services provides leadership in translating the vision and philosophy of the Edward Waters College into a dynamic community of learning, ensuring that the college provides quality programming and faculty for its academic student support program. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the academic development of students by implementing a comprehensive Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. The incumbent will work with other members of the college community to increase the retention rate of all the intellectual achievement of students. The successful candidate must possess an earned doctorate from an accredited college/university, a minimum of three years college experience at the department chair or equivalent administrative position or higher education, college teaching experience, demonstrable computer literacy, effective written and verbal communication skills, and excellent conflict resolution expertise.
