Assistant Professor of Computer Information Systems
The Assistant Professor of Computer Information Systems teaches twelve (12) to fifteen (15) semester hours of computer information courses. The assistant professor also serves on various college committees as necessary and serves as an academic advisor. The position reports to the Dean of Professional Programs.The successful candidate must possess, at a minimum, a doctoral degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science and must have a keen interest in undergraduate education with a strong commitment to effective teaching and the mission of the institution.   The desired start date is the fall semester of 2008. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.  Compensation is commensurate with the applicant's qualifications.

         Duties:

 v Teaching (12 -15 hours per semester)
 v Academic Advising
 v Research
   v Institutional service (i.e., serving on committees and other duties as assigned)
