Assistant Professor of Communications

The Assistant Professor of Communications teaches communications classes, specifically in journalism, mass communications, and radio/TV.  The assistant professor also serves on various college committees, as necessary, and serves as an academic advisor.  The position reports to the Dean of Arts and Sciences. The successful candidate must possess, at a minimum, a doctoral degree in broadcast journalism or mass communications and have a strong interest in undergraduate education and commitment to effective teaching.  The desired start date is the fall semester of 2008.  Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.  Compensation is commensurate with the applicant's qualifications.
