The Office of the Provost and the Division of Academic Affairs at Edward Waters College (EWC) appreciate your interest in EWC’s academic programs and services. We welcome you to our web site!
EWC is proud to be an engaged, twenty-first century historically black co-educational A.M.E. Church-related college with comprehensive academic programs available in a wide range of undergraduate majors, currently serving more than 800 students.
Along with its traditional academic mission, EWC serves the broader community through its Community Resource Center and community outreach while enhancing the educational experiences of its students through internships and research opportunities.
The outstanding EWC faculty forms a creative and committed community of teachers and scholars who value the learning potential in each student. They work diligently to teach to the learning style of each student. EWC is truly an exceptional place to receive an exceptional yet affordable education, and Jacksonville offers an incredibly picturesque and exhilarating setting to pursue career interests.
This web site has been established to,
provide information relevant to the mission, responsibilities, and services of the Office of the Provost and the Division of Academic Affairs;
provide the organizational structure of administrative offices reporting to the Provost via an organizational chart;
provide the specific staff responsibilities for each office housed in this unit including a short bio and photograph of each academic administrative staff member;
provide relevant information about academic programs and specific majors;
provide useful calendars, catalogs, and class schedules;
provide valuable links to Faculty and Staff Information and resources that include significant policies, procedures, organizations, or other information that may be used to perform professional duties or address academic issues and opportunities; and
provide valuable links to Student Information and Resources that will be useful to both prospective and current students.
