Academic Affairs Mission 

The mission of the Division of Academic Affairs is to provide challenging and relevant undergraduate programs in a variety of professional and career-oriented disciplines, incorporating effective educational methodologies, modern technology, traditional and alternative instructional delivery systems, characterized by effective teaching in a student centered atmosphere.

Through ongoing faculty development, the Division promotes a culture that nourishes and supports both research activities and excellence in teaching. The Division endeavors to produce graduates who possess high levels of competence in basic social thinking, listening, speaking, reading, writing, mathematical, technological and leadership skills. It also seeks to develop within each student the breadth of knowledge, the commitment to service, and adherence to high excellence and ethical values that are the characteristics of an educated person.
