Dr. Francis Ikeokwu, Sr., has served as the chair/ Associate professor for the Department of Business Administration at Edward Waters College since Fall 2003. He is specialized various interdisciplinary areas such as financial management, managerial and financial accounting, state and local taxations, auditing, international business and trade, business management, and forensic accounting and investigation, and organizations ethics and policies. Also, Dr. Ikeokwu has several years of adjunct teaching experience--on both traditional and online settings. His past and present teaching exposures include, Personal Finance, Principles of Finance, Business Administration, Advanced Business Statistics, Business Ethics and Society, Business Communications, Dynamics of Enterprise, Principles of Accounting I and II, Intermediate Accounting, Accounting Theory, Accounting for the Multinational Enterprise, Global Finance, Global Trade and Finance, Micro and Macro Economics, and Personal Finance Concepts.
Dr. Ikeokwu has excelled in various academic and professional accomplishments. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Financial Management, and International Business at the Union Institute & University; Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at the Florida Metropolitan University; Masters in Forensic Accounting (MAC) at the Florida Atlantic University; Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance at the University of South Florida; and Associate of Arts in Business Administration (AA) at the Hillsborough Community College.
In addition, Dr. Ikeokwu is profoundly active in various external professional and academics organizations that provide assistance to the community. These include the Jacksonville Emerging Small Business Council, St. Patrick Financial Council, War on Poverty-Florida Inc., etc. Presently, he serves as the President of the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE)—Southern Region, where he previously served as the vice president for two years. The IACBE is an international business accreditation organization. Due to his involvement in the association, he initiated the drive to seek a business accreditation for Edward Waters Department of business Administration, and presently chairing the committee for the business accreditation at EWC Business Department.

Chairing Accreditation Committee that is charged with writing “IACBE Self Study” report toward the accreditation of Edward Waters College (EWC), Business Department.
Planned and wrote a thirty-three page report on “IACBE Candidacy Program Review” report to acquire the IACBE candidacy status for EWC Department of Business Administration.
